I miss you mom!!

My mom died unexpectantly on September 1, 2008. She was only 55yrs old. She died in her sleep and my dad found her in bed. This is so hard. I miss her so much! She was with me in the delivery room when I had all my other kids, and this time she won't be there. I'm trying to take on day at a time, but sometimes it is so very hard to do.

Rest in Peace mom, you are very much loved and missed!!

On October 28th, it would have been her 56th birthday. I went out to the grave site with my dad, sister and her husband. Somedays I get so mad that she's not here anymore. Not mad at her though. Just mad that I can't share things with her anymore, and give her hugs and such. I love her so much!

I'm so sorry you lost your mom, please know that all feelings are okay. You can be  mad at death, mad at God (read the book of Job, he's been hollered at before) and even mad at your mom for leaving you. These are all natural parts of grieving. The grieving cycle does not always go "in order" and sometimes you skip back a few steps and start all over again. I hope you can use this forum as a place to heal. I know when I lost Heidi this forum helped me. Even when nobody read my posts, I had somewhere to say what I was feeling. Something about typing out those words made me feel validated. PM me if there's anything I can do.

I had a real tough day yesterday. I went out to her grave site, and they were putting the cement down, forget what it's called, but it's what the tombstone will set on. Then everything just hit me again, like if she just died then. I had to hurry up and leave, I was there with just my 3yr old and he was asleep. Then later last night I broke down and got mad at myself for doing so. My husband is a big help and comforted me. She's been gone for alittle over two months now, and it still seems like a bad dream and I can't wake up.
