I want to know if anyone has ever had one.. Or if you have any info on them..

My period has been so messed up for several years. Still messed up but last few months I have been having horrible cramping.. So bad that I dont even feel like getting out of bed.. There was about 55 days inbetween my last period.. Then I spotted for 8 days followed by a horrible period for 5. The only reason I think it stopped then was because doctor put me on birth control.

Anyways I went in Feb. to have my yearly exam. Doctor said my uterus felt a little swollen. Went back to doctor last week.. I had been spotting for over a week and was cramping so flipping bad. He did another pelvic exam and said uterus was even more swollen.. He said uterus is usally about the size of 5 week pregnant.. Mine is about the size of 14 weeks pregnant.

He said the next step is to have a sonongram done.. We dont have insurance right now so I am trying to see what our county has to offer.

I was just wondering if anyone else has ever had this.. If so what did you do? What problems did you have with them?

Thanks

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to Cafe, my world has been upside down.  Anyway. I had Uterine Fibroids and had to have a Partial Hysterectomy. I kept my ovaries and my cervix. There is a wonderful website that can giver you a lot of information called HysterSisters.com

They have a lot of info on stuff like this.
